A Mother's Job is Never Done
Posted on April 27 2016
Have you seen the video circulating about the "World's Toughest Job Interview"?
If you haven't yet, I encourage you to take the 4 minutes from your day and watch it. It may be the most poignant one I have seen in a long time. Watch it here!
Spoiler alert... the requirements for the so- called position are ridiculous... 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, no time off... Punch line... it's the job of a MOM.
As a mother of 2 daughters, I can most certainly say that the "job" of being a mom is the hardest position I have ever had to hold my entire life. There is never a break, always on our feet, running around, driving, cooking, cleaning, counseling, no pay, sometimes no sleep, and it is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
To be honest, I never thought about how much moms really love their children until I became a mother myself. And there is no denying it... a mother's love is unconditional.
With Mother's Day around the corner, remember to say thank you to all the mothers out there. Not just yours, but anyone who has taken on a roll a nurturer, care taker, friend and more.
Trust me, it will mean the world to her.
