Hip Tips: Pack like a pro!

1. Pre-organize. The more clear you are about what you'll need the more efficient you can be about what you bring! Start by separating your items by type: shoes, Hipknoties, jackets, underthings, toiletries, hair necessities, etc. Once you have everything separated it's easy to spot places where you have duplicity, like for instance maybe you don't need a black leather jacket AND and black blazer, or you don't need two pair of strappy heels, you get the point. Our next suggestion is to pack everything by type as well, this will make navigating your carry-on much easier! (and before you zip up that case, make sure you have all your days covered by laying out clothes by outfit)
2. Separate liquids. Take all liquid products and put them into a reusable plastic baggie and carry them in your purse or tote. This makes navigating the TSA a breeze and if something spills, it won’t get everything in your carry-on.
3. Color Coordinate: By selecting clothing that is all in a neutral color palette (black, white, grey, beige) everything is sure to work together AND can be reused in different outfits. Choose colorful accessories to add pop to each outfit. The great thing about accessories is that they don't take up a ton of room and as we all know, you can completely transform an outfit by simply swapping a belt, necklace, earrings, etc. This actually may be one of our number one pro packing tips!
4. Compartmentalize. Mesh packing cubes and see-through sacks help you find what you need and make it easy for security to go through your stuff quickly. This is a MUST if you travel often!
